Throughout last years golf season we used about 90% of our bentgrass fairway
height nursery on various sodding projects on the golf course. As the season was coming to an end we decided to go ahead and reseed our nursery with 007 bentgrass which was seeded early winter and covered with a turf blanket for the remainder of the winter. The grass type previously on nursery was primarily penncross bentgrass. Above is a picture of one the better established areas of our fairway nursery.
Due to a winter with absolutely no snow and very little rain we did have some areas that didn't germinate as well as other areas. Above is a picture of one of those areas. These areas are starting to creep in fast and won't even be noticed in a few months.
