Bladderwart Infestation

This spring we have been having problems with growth of aquatic weeds in our ponds.  The above picture is of our #9 pond that has been taken over with a aquatic weed called Bladderwort.  It showed itself in early April and has been running rampant ever since.

This is another picture of our #9 pond.  The Bladder wort has taken
over so much that its is now spreading out into the middle of our pond.

We decided to apply a herbicide called Sonar.  Not only will Sonar take care of the Bladderwort, it will also kill the Spatterdock that we have in some of our other ponds.
