Today we begin our summer greens aerification. We will be using our toro 648 aerifier with 6.5" long alloy hollow tines. We are shooting to go down 3" and pull a .5" diameter core. We will finish aerifying all 18 greens today as well as applying sand topdressing. Once all the greens are blown off and sand is dragged in we will finish with a roll on all the greens with our toro vibratory roller to smooth out the putting surfaces making them less bumpy from the aerification holes.
