Rough Overseeding

For the past couple weeks we have been working on over-seeding our roughs. We do this every fall using tall fescue seed.

We use a toro aerothatch seeder which uses rotating blades and discs that make slits in the ground where the seed goes into.

Rough areas on the golf course that are thin from summer stress or disease will be seeded in two directions. With some good weather and luck we hope to have some good germination and all our seeded areas.
