Installation was very easy. We used a cup cutter to cut a hole deep enough to place the sensor 2" down from the surface of the green. After inserting the sensor into the ground we back filled the rest of the hole and replaced the plug.

Toro Turf Guard
We have just finished installing the Toro Turf Guard on our #1, #17, and practice green. The Toro Turf Guard is a wireless soil monitoring system that measures soil moisture, salt and temperature. We will be able to monitor the soil conditions of those greens at anytime on our computer using then sitevision program. The information that buried sensors are obtaining from the soil is transmitted back to the base station every five minutes.
